Calling all coaches looking to take that next step! New coaching courses are available for registered community footy coaches in Victoria, who aspire to upskill and progress their coaching abilities.
Elevate Your Coaching Course (Previously Level 2)
Applications are now open for the Elevate Your Coaching Course Bundle (previously known as the Level 2 Coaching Course).
The Elevate Bundle course focuses on three key areas: Coach the Environment, Coach at Training, and Coach the Game.
Coaches will gain valuable insights into skill acquisition principles, session design, game planning, and effective coaching strategies for game day.
All registered community football coaches in Victoria are eligible for this course.
The total cost for the Elevate Your Coaching Course Bundle is $297.
The one day course will be delivered face to face from 9am to 4pm (dates and locations vary by region).

Advanced Coaching Practices Course (Previously Level 3)
A new coaching course is now available for experienced community footy and talent pathway coaches in Victoria who aspire to upskill and progress, with the Advanced Coaching Practices Course (previously known as Level 3) to be delivered in early December.
Coaches wishing to nominate for the course, via an expression of interest process (link below), must meet the following criteria:
Hold a current AFL Level 2 Coach Accreditation for a minimum of two years
Currently be coaching in one of the AFL Victoria targeted groups listed in info link
Be able to commit to 100% attendance for all course sessions to complete the Advanced Coaching Practices course
Must have the endorsement of their Club, League, and AFL Victoria staff
Please note that the course will be a blended program delivered virtually and face to face over an 8-month period, beginning with in-person sessions in Melbourne on December 7-8, 2024.
